Tata Motors, India's largest automobile company, has announced its sales report for the month of January 2014. Tata Motors's total sales, including exports, of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for the month stood at 40,481 units. The company's domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles registered 36,657 units f vehicles. Cumulative sales, including exports, for the company for the fiscal were 475,560 units.
The commercial vehicles sales in the month of January 2014 in the domestic market stood at 25,683. The LCV (Light Commercial Vehicles) sales were 17,517 units, while M&HCV sales stood at 8,166 units.
The cumulative sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market for the fiscal registered 321,002 units of vehicles and the cumulative LCV sales were232,298 units while M&HCV sales stood at 88,704 units.
The passenger vehicles sales for January 2014 were at 10,974 units. The sales of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range in January 2014 were 8,463 units. The Sumo/ Safari/ Aria/ Venture range sales were 2,511 units.
Cumulative sales of passenger vehicles were 114,490 units. Cumulative sales of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range were at 88,400 units. Cumulative sales of the Sumo/Safari/ Aria/ Venture range were 26,090 units
The company has exported 3,824 units of vehicle in January 2014. The cumulative sales from exports for the fiscal were 40,068 units.

It also has an industrial joint venture with Fiat in India.
