Tata Motors is aiming to grow bigger in the Indian market in this fiscal and dealership network expansion is an important part of that strategy. The homegrown auto manufacturer has planned to add 100 new dealerships across the country in this fiscal and these will focus the tier 2 and tier 3 cities across India. With the help of this enhanced dealership network and new models, Tata is hoping to better sales result in FY19.
The rural market of India has always been the strength of Tata Motors. Not only for the commercial vehicles, but in the passenger vehicle segment as well. Now, the brand has also seen greater response from the young buyers in metro cities. However, the brand is keen to strengthen its presence in the rural markets, which contributes a large chunk of the automaker’s total sales.
Speaking about the new models, Tata Motors has seen great response with the Nexon SUV, Tiago hatchback and Tigor compact sedan as well. The Tata Hexa too has seen pretty good response from the buyers. Now, it is also working on a premium hatchback and a new SUV that are expected to boost Tata’s sales further.
Moving ahead from the outdated design philosophy, Tata Motors has implemented the stylish and upmarket new-age Impact design theme in its cars. Also, the upcoming models will come sporting the even better Impact 2.0 design language that was displayed at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo.
