Tata Nano was indeed a global project and all eyes were on India when Ratan Tata launched the world's cheapest car ever - the Tata Nano. But due to some reasons, the project couldn't shoot up as fast as Mr. Tata thought it to go. Tata Motors is trying hard to come back in the game and they launched Tata Nano Twist to re-shift the focus of customers towards this hatchback.
And now a reader of Team-BHP has spotted the most expensive Tata Nano ever called the Nano F-Tronic XTA variant which as the name suggests comes with an AMT gearbox. The images clicked seems to be straight out of the showroom. Though the company is yet to be announced formally, the images reveal that it could happen anytime soon.
The F-Tronic and Twist Active were showcased by Tata Motors at the Auto Expo 2014 as the concept cars. Tata Motors strategically started using new terminology for Nano models - Twist for power steering, F-Tronic for AMT, Active for the functional tailgate. Which means that the model spotted is a top-of-the line model that will come with AMT, tailgate and power steering.
The new model will come loaded with a wooden panel on the centre console, three spoke steering wheel, and 24L fuel tank. The new car is also expected to get new bumper with smoked headlamps and a honeycomb grille while on the back the Nano will get a spoiler.
