Tata Motors is making the upmarket and stylish Nexon SUV even more attractive. The homegrown auto manufacturer is offering sunroof for the compact SUV as an optional feature. The Tata Nexon customers can opt for the sunroof at a price of Rs 16,053. It comes as a pop-up sunroof instead of a power adjusted one. No wonder, this feature makes the already popular Tata Nexon even more appealing and premium.
In the highly competitive and highly in demand compact SUV segment of Indian car market, Honda WR-V is the only model that comes with factory fitted sunroof, but in the top-end VX trim only. Meanwhile, the Tata Nexon’s optional sunroof can be fitted to any trim. Interestingly, apart from the sunroof, Tata Motors has also introduced a wide range of accessory for the Nexon compact SUV.
Speaking about the Tata Nexon, this compact SUV comes sporting the brand’s Impact design language and it carries an unique and eye-catching appearance that is very much in line with the concept model that was displayed at the 2014 Delhi Auto expo. The white ceramic beltline, projector headlamps, LED daytime running lines, fluid character lines, sporty alloy wheels, compact taillights add zing to the car. Inside the cabin, it boasts an 8-speakr Harman sound system, touchscreen infotainment system, generous space etc.
Power sources for the Tata Nexon are a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Apart from the manual gearbox, the Tata Nexon is also available with an AMT. Since the launch of the car, the brand has posted a steep growth. The car contributed around 53% of the brand’s total UV sales in March.
