Tata Motors had rolled out an update for Nexon’s infotainment system earlier this year in April deeming its hardware. As a part of the update, silicon pads were inserted on the headlamp housing to prevent the wiring harness from touching the projector unit. The update also included replacement of the plastic battery cover of the key fob which comes with the Smart key on the XZ+ variant. There were some issues with the Bluetooth connectivity and ‘freezing’ of the touchscreen which were also fixed.
Launched last year in India, Tata’s ambitious subcompact SUV has carved a niche spot in the subcompact SUV space. It is one of the most affordable options in the segment with prices falling between Rs 6.15 lakh to Rs 10.59 lakh (ex-showroom price).
