The company had also introduced the Wizz Edition a couple of years back in 2017 during the festive season with similar cosmetic updates and added features while mechanically being the same as standard models.
Speaking of the cosmetic updates, it comes in a titanium grey paint scheme with roof in contrasting gloss black color. In addition, Tata Tiago Wizz Edition flaunts an orange accent at the front grille and at the 'Hyperstyle' wheels. The ORVMs are also colored in orange with 'Wizz' badge in chrome. The cabin boasts of orange detailing surrounding the AC vents and orange stitching at the seats.
The gear lever is finished in Titanium Grey while the inner door handles are done in Granite Black. The features remain the same as XZ grade with a 2-DIN audio system with USB, Bluetooth and Aux, steering-mounted controls, a rear parcel shelf, power-adjustable wing mirrors, and remote central locking as standard.
Mechanically, Tata Tiago Wizz Edition is powered by the same 1.2L Revotron petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission and multi-drive modes. Just so you know, Tata Motors recently updated the Tiago and Tigor with a fully digital instrument cluster, albeit in top XZ+ and XZA+ trim levels.
Meanwhile, in other news, the home-grown automaker also announced that it will equip the Nexon with Ziptron EV technology and it will be launched in the first quarter of 2020. The Nexon Electric is said to be having a driving range in excess of 200 kilometers in a single charge. Tata Tiago locks horns with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Hyundai Santro and Datsun GO in the Indian market.
