The limited version of the Tata Tiago, allegedly known as Wizz has been recently spied for the second time. The new spy images clearly reveal some intricate details of the upcoming model. It is based on the XT variant rather than the range-topping XZ variant.
The India-bound model was earlier spotted testing on the Indian road and now the spy images of the interiors have been leaked. The special edition model is based on the impact design philosophy and comes with all-black roof and ORVMs to have an elegant look. The car will run on the 13-inch steel wheels, instead of the wider 14-inch one. The interior of the model looks newly designed with a dual-tone dashboard, highly finished in piano black with reddish berry shade.
The Indian-spec limited version is expected to derive its power from the same set of engines used by the regular models of Tiago. It is expected to come in both the petrol and diesel engine variants. The petrol unit will be powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron engine, which is capable of producing a maximum power output of 85 bhp and a peak torque of 114 Nm. On the other hand, the diesel variant will be equipped with a 3-cylinder 1.05-litre diesel engine, which will develop a maximum power of 70 bhp against a peak torque of 140 Nm. Both the engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. But it is unknown whether the limited edition will feature any automatic transmission option.
The upcoming limited edition of the Tata Tiago is expected to be priced slightly higher than the regular variant and is most likely to compete directly with the likes of new Maruti Celerio, Maruti Wagon R and new Hyundai Grand i10 in the Indian market.
