Tata Motors is all set to launch the Tigor Buzz in the Indian market. However, prior to the official launch, the images and specifications of the limited edition model have been leaked online. Being based on the base XE grade, Tata Tigor Buzz would be available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims with a handful of extra features. The Tigor Buzz petrol could be priced at Rs. 5 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom), while the diesel derivative could get an ex-showroom pricing of Rs. 6 Lakhs. The model would be introduced by the end of this month.
As far as dimensions are concerned, Tata Tigor Buzz would measure 3992mm in length, 1677mm in width and 1537mm in height, identical to the standard model. Though, spy-shots have suggested that it would have different styling as compared to the regular model. The Tigor Buzz would get a contrasting black roof, black ORVMs, black interior inserts and red AC vent surrounds. As for the features, it would carry all the bells and whistles as the standard XE variant of Tigor such as body coloured bumpers, LED tail lamps, dual-tone interior, 2.5-inch driver information display, Eco and City drive modes, manual AC and driver footrest. Tata might just offer the basic version of ConnectNext infotainment system with the limited edition model in order to accentuate the value-for-money factor.
Mechanically, Tata Tigor Buzz would come with the same set of petrol and diesel motors as the standard model. The petrol variant would be powered by the naturally aspirated 1.2L 3-cylinder Revotron engine which would develop top power of 84bhp at 6000rpm and peak torque of 114Nm at 3500rpm. The diesel variant would have the 1.05L 3-cylinder turbocharged Revotorq engine at the helm with maximum power output of 69bhp at 4000rpm and highest torque performance of 140Nm between 1800-3000rpm. Both the engines would be linked to the 5-speed manual transmission as the Buzz limited edition won't have the option of 5-speed EasyShift AMT gearbox. Just so you know, 'Buzz' would be the first special/limited edition of Tigor sedan since its launch in the Indian market.
