Tata Motors has teased limited-edition Tigor Buzz just before its launch in the country. The limited-edition sedan was recently spotted at a dealership, revealing most of its features and styling bits. Tata Motors has not revealed the launch date yet, albeit the teaser image released is a part of the promotional campaign before the car gets officially launched.
The limited edition Tigor Buzz is based on the entry-level XE trim and it receives special styling elements as well as additional features opposed to the standard model. In terms of styling, it gets similar kind of treatment as Tata Tiago Wizz, a limited-edition model which was launched last year in September.
Among the changes, the limited-edition model gets prominent changes in front as it gets Berry Red highlights on the front grille. At the side, it features dual-tone wheel covers with red accent and contrasting black mirrors. While the rear remains largely same save for the new Buzz badge on the boot lid.
On the inside, the sedan features piano black trim on the centre console, air vents, door handles and steering wheel. While the air vents get sporty red accents, the patterned seat fabric is another prominent change over the standard XE grade. In addition to the above mentioned changes, the model also gets the basic ConnectNext infotainment system which is likely to come with four speakers.
In terms of mechanicals, the Tata Tigor Buzz will be offered with two engine options including a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and a 1.05-litre Revotorq oil burner. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol unit makes 85bhp at 6000rpm against 114Nm torque. Diesel version will use the turbocharged three-cylinder unit with 70bhp at 4000rpm and 140Nm torque between 1800 to 1300rpm. Both engines are expected to get a 5-speed manual gearbox.
