Tata Motors seems to be gearing up to introduce large 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system to the Tigor sedan. The unit appears to be the same used in Tata Nexon. However, instead of the floating dash-top unit like Nexon, the Tata Tigor will come with the touchscreen infotainment system integrated to the hexagonal centre console.
A Tata Tigor has been spotted with the larger touchscreen infotainment system fuelling the speculation. In that case, the 5-inch screen available in the Tata Tigor will be replaced by the larger unit. Currently, the Tata Tigor XZ (O) trim comes with a 5-inch screen at centre console. Speaking about the new touchscreen infotainment system, it will come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well.
While the larger touchscreen infotainment system will add bit of premiumness to the cabin of Tigor, there won’t be any other change at all. It is not confirmed, when Tata Tigor will receive this update, but we can expect the stylish sedan to come with the feature sometime during upcoming festive season. Also, we might see the current XZ (O) trim’s 5-inch screen being moved to the lower grades of the Tigor. We hope to learn more about the development in coming days.
