Honda Activa 6G is also on cards.
Jawa Perak Bobber e-bike is also in the pipeline.
The world’s largest two-wheeler market, India is set to receive ten new motorcycles and scooters in the coming months. First on the list is the new Bajaj Pulsar 125, which will be positioned below Pulsar 150. Powered by the 124.5cc engine, it is likely to get a 5-speed unit.
Suzuki Motorcycles is also planning to bring the new Suzuki Gixxer 250 in the country which is said to share most of the parts with Gixxer SF 250. Missing on the full fairing, it could get a 249cc unit. Ruling the bike segment for years, Bajaj is also planning to launch a direct rival to Royal Enfield Himalayan, Pulsar 250 Adventure. This prowess could get a 30 PS, 248.8cc engine, which also powers KTM Duke 250.
Next on the list is KTM 390 Adventure that has been spotted undergoing tests several times. It is likely to feature a 373cc engine, linked to a six-speed unit. A long suspension travel, engine bash and several other bits are likely to be on offer. From the stables of Honda, expect a futuristically styled Forza 300 scooter. Likely to be a CBU, it will derive power from a 279cc engine.
Aside from an entry-level bike, Bajaj is also working on a scooter, called Urbanite. This e-scooter could be priced at Rs 1 lakh. While Bajaj is working on its first e-scooter, Honda is gearing up to bring Active 6G at the 2020 Auto Expo. Also on list are names like Jawa Perak Bobber motorcycle, TVS Jupiter 2020 and Suzuki New Swish. While Jawa Perak is an e-bike, TVS Jupiter 2020 is the new iteration of the Activa rival and New Swish is simply a resurrected version of the defunct scooter.
