Tesla Motors’ luxury all-electric Model 3 four-door sedan has scored a five-star rating in the latest Euro NCAP crash and safety tests.
Teslas Inc’s Model 3 electric saloon achieved this feat after scoring the highest points ever registered in the organization’s safety test history. This Tesla electric vehicle consists of detailed systems and substantial driver assist technology, for example – automatic emergency brakes, lane assist, and speed limit assist, which greatly enhanced its performance and the subsequent NCAP test score.
These technologically advanced system features embedded in the Model 3 mechanical specs, fully developed in-house by the Tesla Inc team, helped the all-electric sedan achieve an all-time best score in Safety Assist points category ever witnessed, considering the norms laid under the present methods of crash test practices.
Speaking on the results, Matthew Avery, Director of Research at Thatcham Research, said, “The Tesla Model 3 achieved one of the highest Safety Assist scores we have seen to date".
He further added, "Its Collision-Avoidance Assist system is first class. Tesla has done a great job of playing the structural benefits of an electric vehicle to its advantage."
