The 2014 Hero Glamour is the latest addition to the list of Hero's products that it is updating to keep the number one spot away from Honda. The new variant sports a very obvious cosmetic upgrade in the form of new graphics and new dials. Rest of the changes are very subtle like a modified headlamp, tail-light and visor.
The regular version of glamour runs on petrol which is delivered to the engine through a carburetor whereas the FI variant, as the name suggests, has an electronic fuel injection.
The engine on both the bikes is a 124.8 cc, air cooled unit which throws out a max. power of 9.1 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.35 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
The regular version of the Glamour is priced at Rs 53,375 for the drum brakes variant whereas the disc brake variants costs Rs 55,375. The Glamour FI with drum brake will cost Rs 58,700, and the one with disc brake will cost Rs 62,750.
The new Glamour will also flaunt a tubular double cradle chassis with telescopic hydraulic shocks at the front and 5 step adjustable shock absorbers at the rear.
