2017 KTM 1190 Adventure spied in Austria
Snapshot: The updated 1190 Adventure carries significant upgrades, from visuals to electronics.
Ahead of its debut at the INTERMOT motor show this year, 2017 KTM 1190 Adventure has been spotted undergoing testing wearing heavy camouflage. The bike was spotted near KTM’s facility in Austria and the spied version suggests that the bike has underwent significant number of upgrades. At the front, the new 1190 Adventure has been given a redesigned headlamp and a taller windscreen. The new longer headlamp might be integrated with 1290’s cornering light system.
The new 1190 Adventure will be propelled by the same 1,195cc V-twin engine but now will be Euro IV compliant to meet the progressive emission norms. The KTM 1190 Adventure has been a pinnacle in terms of electronics and the new model will surely feature more of the electronic gadgetry. The orange machine maker is expected to showcase its new models including the new 1190 Adventure, the new twin-cylinder 890 Duke and the new 390 Duke along with other new models at the INTERMOT motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany this October.
