Ducati has come up with a Scrambler dedicated dealership in its home country Italy. This is the first Scrambler dedicated showroom in the whole world and Ducati may come with more of similar dealerships later. Ducati made the first ever Scrambler in 1960; it was a 250cc motorcycle that started the Scrambler legacy. Ducati launched the new Scrambler at the starting of 2015 and soon after the launch new Scrambler proved to be a massive hit.
Its first dedicated dealership is named as ‘Ducati Scrambler Camp’ which deals in all four versions of Scrambler. Apart from the motorcycle, ‘Ducati Scrambler Camp’ has full range of Ducati apparels and accessories. Ducati introduced Scrambler to India at a price of INR 6.67 lakhs. For people who are unaware about the Scrambler, its engine is based on the same engine that comes in Monster 796, it is an 803cc air-cooled, v-twin engine that delivers a good 75bhp of power. Scrambler lies somewhere close to adventure tourer segment of motorcycles as it is capable of doing decent off-roading but looks way apart from them. In India Scrambler competes directly with Triumph’s Bonneville T100. We are hoping for Ducati to come up with a similar kind of Scrambler dedicated showroom in India.
