These days majority of the motorcycle manufacturers has already launched or showcased their Scrambler concepts to the world. The EICMA 2015 gave us a closer look to the new smaller Scrambler by Ducati, the Scrambler Sixty2 and the new Benelli Leoncino. Now the Japanese manufacturer has updated its iconic SV650 in a new Scrambler look. The company showcased the new SV650 at the Motorcycle Live being held in the UK.
The bike has been redesigned with the new Scrambler looks, trellis frame, new accessories, new engine and other stuff. The bike gets a new aluminium front mud guards, radiator guard and a chain guard. Unlike other Scramblers, this one runs on alloys instead of spoke wheels. These alloys are shod with meaty deep treads tires for better grips off-roads. Also the new wide-handle bar will add to the bike controlling factor when riding in rough terrains.
The exhaust pipe is cloth wrapped to give the bike more rugged rough look. Apart from that it propels a new more power full V-Twin 650cc engine. This power unit delivers 75bhp at 8500rpm and peak torque of 64Nm at 8100rpm. Also the bike is seen wearing new Nissin ABS system for more control. It is not sure if the bike will be make into production or not. Stay tunes for more updates and don’t forget to leave your views in the comment section below.
