The special Vespa 946 is designed by the Italian fashion house Emporio Armani on the special 40th anniversary of the Giorgio Armani and 130th anniversary of the iconic two-wheeler manufacturer Piaggio. The year 1946 witnessed birth of the legendary two-wheeler brand. Piaggio’s first ever moped scooter was released in the year of 1946. Hence the number 946 in the scooter’s name is taken after the year 1946.
According to Vespa,” the metal parts have a satin finish and create an opaque effect in line with the finishing touches of the body. The side body of the 946 flaunts the beautifully written Emporio Armani on it while the iconic Eagle logo of the brand stays solid above the headlight. The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani is the best example of technology and style’s fusion. The brown-leather finishes looks incredible on the sporting grey body of the 946. The 220mm double disc brake; two-channel ABS braking system and large 12 inch wheels help ensure maximum safety on the road.
It will be produced in a limited numbers and will be on sale only in one of the most important cities of the world.
