Toyota India is all set to adorn its stage with next-generation Corolla and the Etios Liva Cross at 2014 AutoExpo. Both these models are due for the Indian market in near future. Even the company has recently ceased production of the Corolla Altis in India. The Toyota Corolla is one of the most successful cars across the world, even the model has managed to collect the nameplate for world’s largest selling car across the world.
The new Corolla, 11th generation model, is completely revised from the ground zero, enriched with modern and futuristic approach in its design. The India-bound Corolla will boasts loads of premium features along with the abundant amount of cabin space in respect to the outgoing version. The company will keep on powering the model with current 1.8-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engine but both the engines will be retuned. Interestingly, the 2014 Corolla which has lived the title of executive car in its segment would now appeal to the young buyers too.
The next interesting yet unusual car on display will be the Etios Liva Cross. The Etios Cross is nothing more than a cosmetically refaced version of the Etios Liva. Majorly, the Etios Cross will get a thick black cladding that runs along the lower part of the hatch. The new crash guard styling to bumper, a pair of roof rails along with a pair new alloy wheels will collectively give the Etios Cross a rugged beefy appeal. The Etios Cross will fight against the VW Cross Polo and upcoming Fiat Punto Adventure in the Indian market.
The Japanese automaker will also showcase the facelift of its famous premium SUV, Land Cruiser Prado alongside the aforementioned models. The company will also showcase a few awestruck concept and technology marvels like it did in last few editions of the mega auto show.
