Toyota’s Etios is all set to make a re-entry into the market most probably on September the 13th with a brand new facelift. Though car admirers were already aware of this fact, few more images have again been unearthed which gives us a better insight into the inside of the automobile this time. Courtesy to the famous Gaadiwaadi web portal, we can now see several other images of the sedan’s brand new look.
So on observing the interiors, we can clearly see that the car has undergone ample changes which takes it several notches higher than the current Etios. The semi-digital instrument cluster has been updated and chrome highlights can be seen around the speedometer. The 2-DIN audio system will be accompanied by Bluetooth and USB connectivity and also support Aux. The dashboards and seats look quite chic, done up in dual tone ivory and grey. For emergency situations the Etios gets ABS(Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution), and pretensioners.
The exterior has not been much of a mystery to us thanks to the several spy shots that have been making its way around the internet. On the front, it boasts of V-shaped grilles with chrome embellishers, the bumper is also more sportier with larger intakes and round chrome-bezeled boomerang-shaped foglamps. It is also endowed with attractive alloy wheels, A chrome strip runs across the middle of the bootlid. It also has parking sensors which is a bonus.
The current Etios holds a 1.5litre of petrol tank which churns out 89bhp of power and 132Nm torque and the diesel variant is equipped with a 1.4litre of engine churning out 67bhp of power and 170Nm of torque. Apart from the additional 5-speed manual gearbox the same under the hood features are expected of the brand new Etios.
