The announcement regarding the addition of new colour came on company’s social media handles. Toyota also offers Etios Cross in the same colour option which is available in combination with a black roof. The hatchback can also be had in Vermilion Red and Super White dual tone colour options, while the Ultramarine Blue dual tone which was introduced in February last has now been removed from the official website.

The new dual-tone variant gets additional bits to match up with its new colour scheme. It gets gloss black finish on the front grille, roof, outside rear view mirrors, roof spoiler and dual-tone 10-spoke alloy wheels. The new variant continues using the same mechanical set-up as the regular trims. That said, the petrol trims use the 1.2-litre petrol unit good for maximum power of 80PS against 104Nm torque and the diesel variants derive power from the 1.4-litre oil burner that makes 68PS along with 170Nm. Transmission duties are carried over by the conventional 5-speed manual unit across range.

Feature list on the Etios Liva include manual air conditioning, cooled glovebox, height adjustable driver’s seat, 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth support, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and a multifunctional steering wheel.
