Toyota India has announced that Etios series has touched the sales milestone of 4 Lakh units in the country. The Etios series consists of Platinum Etios, Etios Liva and Etios Cross. The Liva sales witnessed a positive growth of 10 percent in April to September 2018 as compared to same period last year. Toyota Etios was firstly introduced in 2011, while the launch of the “Platinum Etios and Etios Liva” took place in September 2016. The company recently introduced the Liva Dual Tone Limited Edition across markets in India.
Marking this milestone, Mr. N. The Japanese automaker also launched the new Dual-Tone Etios Liva in the Indian market, which has helped Toyota in pushing the growth of personal segment sales for Liva to 95 percent. The company also launched the limited edition of Etios Cross called Etios Cross X- Edition in September last year with a more sporty and stylish look. Etios series has set a safety benchmark in the industry being the first in segment to standardize dual SRS airbags and ABS with EBD across all grades, Front Seat Belts with Pre Tensioner & Force Limiter, Isofix Child Seat Locks for all models and all grades. Made-in India Toyota Etios had bagged 4 Stars at a crash test campaign organized by Global NCAP.
