Japanese auto giant, Toyota, is all ready to launch the all new Toyota Fortuner 2016 in India on November 7. Just before of its India release, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has teased a picture of the cutting edge Fortuner with its official release date. In the latest variant, Fortuner is more energetic than the previous one. The new model highlights redesigned front and back bumper, which is sportier. The headlamps and tail lamps are slimmer and more extensive at this point. New Toyota Fortuner measures 4,795mm long, 1,855mm in width, 1,835mm in height and it has a long wheelbase of 2,750mm.
The new Toyota Fortuner will be based on the Toyota Innova Crysta MPV and will come outfitted with the same 2.4-liter GD and 2.8-liter GB diesel powerful engine. The 2.4-litre 2GD-FTV diesel unit churn out maximum power of 148bhp and 400Nm of maximum torque while the 2.8-litre 1GD-FTV version provides maximum 175bhp of power and 450Nm of maximum torque. The power will be delivered to the wheels via 6 - speed manual as well as automatic gearbox option.
Like the Innova Crysta, the 2016 Toyota Fortuner will come with features like LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, A-TRC Traction Control (TRC) framework, DownHill Assist Control (DAC) framework, electric rear end, electrically movable driver's seat, cruise control, T-Connect infotainment system with GPS and switching camera.
