Triumph becomes Biggest European Brand in North America
Snapshot: Triumph registers incredible growth in North-American market to become the best European brand in the region....
Triumph saw record sales in January 2015 in the North-American market and it has help the British company to become the biggest European brand in the region. The growth has been of such magnitude that, the companies sales in the United States rose 66% in January over the same period last year. A significant gain by any measure, but the 379% sales growth experienced in Canada over this time period is extraordinary. Triumph even claims its dealers outsold a Japanese competitor in the month of January.
Matt Sheahan, COO of Triumph Motorcycles America said that, " Triumph achieved a combined 82 percent increase in year-over-year retail sales in North America in January. This record month for the Hinckley-era Triumph would not be possible without the hard work of our dealers. The results clearly state that Triumph is a growth brand, and consumers continue to be attracted to our distinctive British styling with modern technology on our bikes.” Sheahan continued, “The success and growth of the Triumph brand is directly related to the commitment of our dealer network. We’re thrilled to honour these nine dealers for not only delivering high retail sales but also delivering exceptional customer service.”
Triumph is not only growing in the North-American region, but also growing in almost all the markets it is present in. With a recent specification debacle in India, Triumph did lose its face among the hard core motorcycle lovers of the country, however, there is no doubt in the sheer desirability and performance of Triumph products and it makes the British brand to still grow at a decent pace in the Indian sub-continent too.
