Great news to start the day, Triumph Bonneville Bobber has been spied testing in Spain at the company’s development facility near Barcelona. If reports are true then the Bobber version of Bonneville is based on a new 1100cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, with a power boost from current 69hp to 100hp. With the picture of Bobber it can easily be figured out that Triumph is working on to enter a whole new segment via Bobber.
Apart from the Bobber, Triumph is working on a bunch of new projects including wire-spoke-wheeled T100, café race-styled Thruxton, more sportier Café Racer sharing the 1100cc engine, Scrambler and base edition. The solo seat, inverted bar-end mirrors, swingarm design and a lot of more stuff has contributed to give this bike a hardcore Bobber look. The same engine from Bobber will be utilized to upgrade the current Bonneville, Thruxton, T-100 and Scrambler. Though the bike looks complete and production ready but it is expected that Triumph will unveil this bike late this year and will go on sale next year as a 2017 model. Other models like new Speed Triple and Tiger XC would make way next year along with this new Bonneville Bobber.
