Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the 2018 Bonneville Speedmaster at a starting price of Rs. 11.11 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. The new Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster gets a plethora of cosmetic updates alongwith a significant increase in power output. Being based on the Triumph Bonneville Bobber, it would lock horns with the likes of Indian Scout Sixty and the Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom. Just so you know, the Bonneville Bobber was launched last year at a sticker price of Rs. 9.56 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India).

Recently Triumph Motorcycles collaborated with California Superbike School!

Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd. commented "With the Speedmaster, your motorcycle will not just be your trusty, beloved ride, but also the accessory that redefines your individual style. And what's more, the Speedmaster, like all Triumph offerings, comes without compromise to quality, efficiency, and safety. Featuring in the Classic Cruiser category, this product showcases the changing world of motorcycling. Our goal is not just to dominate the market but to continue upgrading the entire biking experience in India. We will further strengthen this category over time, and continue to deliver THE RIDE that Triumph is known for."

The 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster flaunts 5-inch multi-function full LED headlamp with DRL as standard. The LED indicators, LED number plate light and LED rear light further accentuate the overall appearance of the bike. It comes with a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres, which has been increased from 9.1 litres. In addition, it also gets a pillion seat and to accomodate this move, the company engineers had to use a completely redesigned subframe. Mechanically, it is powered by the same 1200cc parallel-twin engine, which powers the Bobber. It delivers a maximum power of 77bhp at 6100rpm and peak torque of 106Nm at 4000rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission. The cruiser comes with two riding modes: Road and Rain.
