Triumph Celebrates 1st Indian Anniversary with a stunning build by Rajputana Customs

Snapshot: The only outcome when two Legacies like Triumph and Rajputana Customs meet is - STUNNING!!!

Just a few years ago it felt like a dream and now it strikes to us that wonderfully well the Indian market has warmed up and welcomed the premium motorcycle manufacturers in the country. We have constantly been reporting the staggering growth premium bike segment is showing in the country and if you look at the portfolio of the bikes that are available in the country, should your banker allow it, is just staggering. From Aprilia's to BMW's, from the Moto Guzzi's to Harley Davidson's and then there is Triumph, one of the oldest and probably one of the most iconic motorcycle manufacturers of all time.

Just recently Triumph completed its First year in the Indian market and to celebrate this iconic moment, Triumph India shook hands with probably the best and the most admired custom motorcycle building house in the country, the Rajputana Customs. The result you would ask? well the resulting bike, that was a Bonneville to start off with, is one stunning detailed retro-someness (Yeah! We just created a word for it!!!).

Among the festivities of 2015 IBW, Triumph India celebrated its first anniversary and showcased a special Bonneville, custom made by Rajputana Custom Motorcycles specially for IBW 2015.The completely redesigned  Bonneville now features a more scrambler sort of ideology. The seat and the high-mounted exhaust (lifted from a original 2006 Triumph Scrambler) is a direct inspiration of the original motorcycle. The front end of the custom made Bonneville Scrambler featured an aggressively styled twin projector headlamp unit with a high set mudguard positioned right under the headlight assembly. The small stock wheels were replaced by off-road wheels and tyres to increase the machine’s ground clearance and give it better off-road capabilities. The motorcycle had been given a motocross-styled handlebar, off-road grips, scrambler levers and foot pegs.
