Triumph India gets aggressive; opens fourth dealership in India
Snapshot: The new dealership, after Kochi, will be in the motorcycle heartland of India - Pune, and should speed-up the process of Triumph's penetration in Indian market
Roughly a week ago, we had written about Triumph India's sudden awakening and launching dealerships across India when it launched its third dealership in India at Kochi. Well, it seems that the people at Triumph are in no mood to relax as the new dealership at Pune is getting inaugurated on 30th April, 2014. This will be soon followed by two more showrooms, one each at Mumbai and Ahmedabad. With these new dealerships, Triumph will try to move closer to its plan of launching a total of 9 dealerships across India by the end of 2014.
At the inauguration of the Kochi dealership, Triumph India had said that it had already begged over 300 bookings for the exotic models it had showcased for the first time in Auto Expo 2012. The line-up that includes some of the legends like Bonneville, Mission Impossible famed Speed Triple, the mammoth Rocket III Roadster, Street Triple, ice cool Thruxton, grand tourers like Tiger XC and Explorer, the massive Thunderbird Storm and the king of mini superbikes - the Daytona 675R had got people saving money, but not much was said from Triumph India post Auto Expo 2012. This year, Triumph understood the importance of the phrase 'Action speaks louder than words' and decided to talk less and work more.
To make these iconic brands more reachable and affordable, Triumph has tied-up with HDFC Bank to provide attractive finance options that will allow the buyers to take the loan of up to 80% of the value than can be paid back within 24-60 months.
“HDFC’s commitment towards customer service and their large nationwide network is what led to this partnership. The finance options are quick, easy and convenient, aimed to provide our customers with a hassle free and comfortable buying experience,” Mr. Tarun Sachdev, Director-Finance, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd. had said.
