Triumph has brought the latest addition to its family with the launch of the 2017 Street Scrambler. The Triumph Street Scrambler is assembled in India and has been given an exclusive showroom price of Rs. 8.10 lakhs across the country.

The new Triumph Street Scrambler is a perfect match for the Indian road conditions as it is the ideal option for both on road as well as off road riding. The motorcycle gets some of the most contemporary features, like the new front mudguard mounts in order to suit the larger wheels. The seats are ribbed Alcantara-styled with contrast stitches along with the company’s logo embossed on it. The headlight gets aluminium bracket and black bezel. The front foot pegs are made of high steel grip with “Bear Trap” adventure style, while the pillion pegs are removable.

The 2017 Triumph Street Scrambler gets the ride-by-wire for enhanced rideability, safety and ride control. It also gets switchable ABS, switchable traction control (accessible via the instrument menu) and torque assist.

The new motorcycle gets the same 900 cc engine from the Bonneville Street Twin. The engine comes with liquid cooling and fuel injection features, which helps in delivering the highest power of 55 bhp at 6,000 revolutions per minute and a peak torque of 80 Nm at just 2,850 revolutions per minute.

Mr. Vimal Sumbly, the Managing Director or Triumph Motorcycles India, quoted that the company’s vision was to deliver a new rugged, off the road-styled bike that is equally competent on all road types. The new Street Scrambler is the perfect motorcycle that fulfills the company’s ambitions in the best way possible.

The Triumph Street Scrambler is offered in three colors - Matt Khaki Green, Korosi Red with Frozen Silver and Jet Black. It can be booked at any of the 14 dealerships of the company all around the country.
