Good news for Tiger fans out there. Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced a new member to the Tiger family, Tiger 800XR. The new Tiger 800XR is launched at a price of INR 10.5 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The new Tiger 800XR is claimed to offer a better sitting riding position and handling. The Tiger is fitted with light-weight cast aluminium wheels, 17-inch diameter at the rear and 19-inch at the front, measuring 4.25 and 2.5 inches in width respectively. The 800cc engine powering the Tiger delivers around 94bhp of maximum power. The engine of Tiger has went through a lot of changes to reduce mechanical noise and strengthened the premium feel of the triple cylinder.
From the safety perspective, Tiger 800XR is equipped with rider focused technology that includes Ride by Wire, Switchable ABS and Triumph Traction Control. The new Tiger is claimed to be more fuel-efficient than the previous Tiger 800 and also the emission levels are reduced. The new Tiger 800XR comes with an unlimited mileage, two-year factory warranty. After the launch of Tiger 800XR, Triumph’s Indian line-up is now composed of four of the Tiger models. Triumph is looking forward to launch a new showroom in the Pink city Jaipur. And with the launch of new dealership Triumph will have a total 12 showrooms across the country.
