I bet motor-heads like us jumped off from our seats when we first saw Chris Pratt riding the bespoke Triumph Bonneville alongside Raptors in summer blockbuster Jurassic World. Triumph has announced that the Jurassic Bonneville will be auctioned online at ebay starting from 7pm (US timings) on 23rd of July and will stay live for just 10 days. Money collected from the auction will go to ‘The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride’, which is the Triumph’s nominated fundraising partner.
Three Scramblers were customized for the film and one of them was giver to Chris Pratt as a gift, while second is displayed at Triumph’s headquarters in the UK and this is the third Scrambler which will be up for auction very soon. The Jurassic World’s Scrambler is based on Triumph’s Bonneville which is runs on a twin cylinder, 865cc engine. Since it is a legendary bike itself, Triumph Bonneville is famous among various bike builders and Hollywood celebs. Money raised by the auction will go to The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, an annual motorcycle event that takes place in cities around the world on the last Sunday in September. This motorcycle event is held to raise funds to support prostate cancer research.
