Triumph starts with the deliveries of newly launched Tiger XR

Triumph recently launched their new Tiger XR in India at an introductory price of INR 10.5 lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). It is the base model in the whole Tiger range and deliveries of the same has already begun. It runs on a 799cc inline three-cylinder engine that delivers nearly 93.7bhp of power and 79Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
Speaking about the new model, Mr Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “We are focused on creating motorcycles with a perfect balance of power, handling and style that totally involve the rider and bring out the best in them. We are extremely happy to announce the launch of the new Tiger XR in just three months from the launch of the Tiger XRx and XCx, which have received tremendous positive response from our esteemed customers in the country. To give an excellent value proposition, the new Tiger XR will be assembled locally through the CKD route in India.”
The Tiger range from Triumph is meant for those adventure junkies who don’t want to be stopped even when the roads go extreme. Other motorcycles that fall into the Tiger range are Tiger Explorer XC, Tiger 800 XCx and Tiger 800 XRx. The most expensive Tiger in the whole Tiger range is the Tiger Explorer XC which is priced at INR 18,75000 (Ex-Showroom,Delhi).
