Triumph Motorcycles has today launched the much awaited Street Triple RS in the Indian market at Rs 10.55 lakh (Ex-showroom). The new Street RS is the higher version of the Street Triple S which was launched a few months back in the Indian market.
The new ‘RS’ gets a bunch of performance focused updates in the form of new advanced multi-display TFT screen, 5 different riding modes, higher engine power, adjustable Showa big piston front suspension and Ohlins STX40 mono-shock (rear). The bike also gets a huge update in form of the Pirelli Supercorsa SP tires. On the braking part, it comes loaded with Brembo M50 4-piston radial monobloc calipers at the front and Brembo single piston sliding caliper at the rear.
Talking about the engine, the bike runs on a 765cc inline 3-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that produces 121bhp of maximum power and 77Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission and comes with quick shifter for fast and accurate transmission responses. The bike’s kerb weight is 166 kg which is absolutely light by any standard for a bike of its class. Stay tuned as we bring you more updates from the auto world.
