Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the all-new Tiger 800 XCA at an introductory price of Rs 15.16 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. The motorcycle is the most advanced Tiger model ever with new technological innovations, engine enhancement, premium specification, and style updates designed specifically to deliver a perfect ride. Triumph Tiger 800 XCA comes with over 200 upgrades to the chassis and engine. It will challenge the likes of BMW F 850 GS and Honda Africa Twin in the Indian market.
Speaking of the styling, Triumph Tiger 800 XCA comes with new premium bodywork which includes high quality painted finishes with updated side panel designs, along with higher quality badges, graphics and detailing. It retains the Tiger 800 silhouette albeit with a a more contemporary and dynamic stance. The bike also flaunts all-new LED lighting with improved visibility and enhanced style. Other features include full-colour TFT instrument cluster, high-specification Brembo front brakes, optimised suspension configurations, handlebar-mounted switch cubes incorporating elegant backlit buttons, updated cruise control, enhanced chassis, and premium bodywork etc. to name a few.
Mechanically, it is powered by the 800cc Triple engine which delivers top power of 94bhp. The lighter exhaust system belts out a sportier soundtrack while there is a new, shorter ratio first gear to enhance off-road traction, all-road low speed responsiveness, and more immediate acceleration. A special mention goes to six riding modes with a special “Off-Road Pro” mode which enables a rider to take complete control off road.
