Some minutes ago we delivered the news that Triumph India might be looking into bringing their heavy weight sports tourer Triumph Trophy into the Indian motorcycling market. Apart from Trophy’s speculations, it is possible that Triumph is about to launch a new variant in the Tiger series on 3rd of this month. The bike will be called Tiger XCA and will sit at the top of the 800cc adventureTiger series. Other bikes in the same 800cc series includes Tiger 800 XR, 800 XRx and the 800 XCx.

The Tiger XCA is equipped with high end features like heated rider and passage seats, LED fog lamps and an uprated 650W alternator complete with 3 auxiliary sockets to power anything from heated clothing to GPS systems. The engine powering the new Tiger XCA will be the same second generation liquid-cooled in-line three 800cc engine delivering 94bhp of maximum power. While features like traction control, switchable ABS, and ride-by-wire throttle with programmable rider modes will come as a standard of the new XCA. It will also be equipped with aluminium pannier rails to help riders on the long tours. Well the price of the new XCA is not confirmed yet but we hope it will be launched in a price bracket of INR 13 to 14 lakhs.
