Triumph Bonneville Bobber is one of the most popular motorcycle in the company’s lineup. The company has now taken the covers off the completely blacked-out version of the motorcycle, known as the Bonneville Bobber Black.
Having said that, the new Bonneville Bobber Black is not only about the all black body. In fact, there is a lot of other changes as well, which the new version dons over the standard Bobber. For instance, the new Bobber Black gets the newly developed Avon Cobra rubber, which gets it to have a more slammed stance. In the front section, the motorcycle now gets a 16-inch rim and a fatter 130-section tyre. Moreover, the new version gets dual discs for the front wheel along with new 2-piston Brembo calipers. The telescopic front fork, which was 41 mm units from KYB, are now bigger 47 mm units and are sourced from Showa.
The new Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black gets a very generous amount of black all over. It gets black wheel hubs, black chrome headlight rim, black handlebars, black anodized gear lever, black painted exhaust system, etc. This new motorcycles continues to be based on ride-by-wire throttle but gets the Cruise Control as a standard feature. It will be available in two shades of black, that is, Jet Black and Matte Black.
However, the new Bobber Black is powered by the same 1,200 cc parallel twin engine which is capable of making a maximum power of 77 bhp at 6,100 revs per minute along with a peak torque of 106 Nm at 4,000 revs per minute.
The Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black is currently under consideration for the Indian market. If it does, it might be a limited edition and could have a price tag of well over the standard version, which is currently priced at Rs. 9.5 lakhs exclusive showroom in Mumbai.
