- Apache range from RTR 180 up to RR 310 included in the festive scheme
- Commuter motorcycle Radeon is the other beneficiary of the festive scheme
- Radeon offered with low down payment
- Apache benefits up to Rs 8800 if customer opts for five year comprehensive insurance
TVS has announced festive offers for the Apache range and Radeon. The benefits include a low down payment for the latter and benefits on five-year comprehensive insurance for the former.
The Radeon is a commuter motorcycle which is much in the Splendor's mould. It has been offered with an offer of a low down payment, as low as Rs 5999 and no processing fee for a loan on the ex-showrooom price of Rs 53,815. The Radeon competes for the customer's attention with the Hero MotoCorp Splendor, Honda Dream Yuga, and Bajaj Platina and their various variants.
The Apache range also has a similar low down payment benefit – the lowest down payment being accepted is Rs 10,999 for the Apache 160. If you go up the range to the opposite end, one can have the RR310 with a maximum benefit of Rs 19,000. Benefits of up to Rs 8800 can be had on the insurance alone if the customer opts for a 5 year comprehensive insurance policy at the time of purchase.
The Apache series goes up against a wide range of competition – the Apache 160 slots into the 150cc commuter segment with the Honda CB Unicorn 150 and Bajaj Pulsar 150, while the Apache RTR 200 4V lies higher, with the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 and Hero Xtreme 200S. The Apache RR310 is in a class of its own, and competes with the likes of the Honda CBR250R, Bajaj Dominar 400, and KTM 250 Duke.
