Indian two-wheeler manufacturing giant TVS Motor Company has made an announcement confirming the launch of the BS6-compliant Apache RR 310 on Jan 30, 2020 and by February 2020 we can expect the roll out of the new Apache model for deliveries across India.
According to a recently spied video of the new BS6 Apache model, its instrument panel features latest colour TFT screen replacing the LCD display which was on the previous Apache BS4 model. The new TFT display unit can be connected with TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth system compatible with a specific smartphone app that can record different parameters. The same feature was seen on the BS6 upgraded TVS Apache RTR200 4V model.
A detailed list of new features and functions on the upcoming Apache RR 310 BS6 model is expected to be available soon around its launch.
With regard to the overall design, look and style the TVS bike will largely be the same except for a possibly new paint scheme or graphics. Rest of the features and specifications shall remain the same, for example, full-fairing, all LED lamps, split-seats, front plus rear mono-shock, inverted telescopic forks, dual-channel ABS plus front and rear wheel disc brakes.
The engine specification remains the same as well which is TVS' liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 312.2cc, 4-valve, reverse inclined, FI engine that generates 34 PS of max power at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of peak torque at 7,700 rpm.
