TVS Motor Company has launched the Apache RTR 160 White Race Edition at a sticke price of Rs. 79,715 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The White Race Edition would come in two variants: front disc & rear drum and dual disk. The latter would cost Rs. 82,004 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). Being pained in a white color with minimal graphics, TVS Apache RTR 160 White Race Edition would be rolled out in phase-wise manner across the nation. With this new White color, the motorcycle can now be availed in seven colors.
Speaking of the White Race Edition, it flaunts a TVS logo at the fuel tank, while the engine cowl boasts of ‘TVS Racing’ stickers. The rear end gets the RTR 160 logo. The motorcycle has double cradle Synchro Stiff frame which rides on telescopic front fork and twin gas-charged MIG shock absorbers at the rear. There is a 270mm petal disc at the front, while a 130mm drum at the rear. However, a 200mm petal disc is also available at front as optional. The bike rides on black alloy wheels which have the ‘TVS Racing’ stickers at the rim.
Mechanically, TVS Apache RTR 160 White Race Edition is powered by the same engine as the standard variant. The 159.7 cc single cylinder engine with air cooling belts out top power of 15bhp at 8500rpm and peak torque of 13Nm at 6500rpm. It is linked to a 5-speed transmission with a top speed of 100kmph. The bike directly rivals the likes of Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG5 and Honda X-Blade.
