Anandakhrisnan R, President-Director at PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia, spoke about the launch of TVS Draken inspired 200cc Apache. He confirmed by saying that the 200cc Apache will be launched in India near the festive season and it is inspired from the Draken X21 concept model that was previously showcased in the 2014 Auto Expo.

The bike will take its power from a 200cc, single cylinder, Liquid-Cooled engine mated to a 6-speed transmission that is capable enough of producing an impressive 28bhp of power and 20Nm of torque. The power output figures sure looks wickedly awesome if compared to any other 200cc motorcycle present in India. Be it the KTM 200 Duke or Pulsar 200NS or any other same category bike, no one makes enough power as the Draken X21 inspired 200cc Apache. Anandakrishnan R was also quoted as saying that this bike will make its debut to the ASEAN market by the end of year 2015. The new Apache would rage war against all the entry-level sports motorcycles such KTM 200 Duke, Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, Honda CBR 250R and the upcoming Hero HX250R.  The new Apache will be the most premium and advanced Apache offered from TVS. The new Apache is sure to get a lot of changes considering the leap of power in the new version. TVS is also planning to launch a faired version of the same.
