TVS launches Scooty Zest in Delhi at Rs. 42,300

Chennai based TVS Motor Company today launched its latest scooter - Scooty Zest - in Delhi just a few hours ago at a price of Rs. 42,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi). In a press conference that talked heavily about the target consumer being a single woman who is independent yet ambitious. This scooter is an amalgamation of every possible need she can ask for. A 19 litre of luggage space under the seat, telescopic forks at the front, a hydraulic monoshock the rear, anti-skidding tubeless tyres are some of the key features that will lure the prospective customers. Ideally, a scooter with so many features lack somewhere or the another, but the Scooty Zest doesn't believe in compromising in any way. Scooty Zest being just 97 kgs is very agile and easy to manoeuvre. It goes from a standstill to 60kmph in just 11.1 seconds because of its brilliant power to weight ratio. The Scooty Zest's 109.7cc engine delivers a maximum of 7.9bhp of power at 7,500rpm and a maximum of 8.7Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.

The seating is more comfortable than ever thanks to its broader, double-stitched seat. Other features include a backlit speedometer, new LED tail lamp, newly painted switch panels and a new compact muffler with stainless steel guard. TVS claimed a fuel efficiency of 62kmpl under standard test conditions for its Scooty Zest. The Eco indicator will let the rider know when is he riding in the economical way to obtain maximum mileage. The Scooty Zest will be available in five metallic colours: Terrific Turquoise, Powerful Pink, Fiery Red, Dynamic White and Daring Black.
