The Hosur based auto making brand, TVS has recently patented the design of its new Apache RR 310GS. Talking about the design, the bike looks sharp and aggressive and draws inspiration from the TVS Akula 310R concept showcased back at the AutoExpo 2016. The front looks sleek and twin eye headlamps remind of the design as seen on the Kawasaki Ninja 300.
As per the patent image, the bike gets front USD forks, front disc brake but misses out on the disc at the back. The tail section looks familiar to the Apache RTR 200 4V with the split seats and twin scoop design between both the seats.
Overall, the bike carries a good looking clean design that looks promising and may look even better when the final production version of the same comes out. While talking about the engine, it is expected to be powered by the same 313cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor as seen on the BMW G310R. This motor is good enough to churn out of a maximum power of 34bhp which is decent considering the capacity of the engine.
When launched, it will lock horns with the KTM RC 390, Benelli Tornado 302R and Kawasaki Ninja 300. Expect to shell out at least Rs 2.2 lakh as it will be the flagship product for TVS. Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
