TVS records 14% sales growth in October, 2015

The Hosur based auto maker has just revealed the sales figures for the past month. As the festive season is knocking on the doors, the company has recorded an over-all growth of 14 per cent in October sales this year. TVS sold 2,74,622 units last month in comparison to 2,41,044 units sold by the company in the corresponding month of 2014. The export figures went up by 20 per cent as company managed to export 41,682 units of two-wheelers this October.

When talking about the domestic sales, TVS sold 2,31,491 units of two-wheelers in the country which is 30 per cent more than the units sold in the same month last year. The overall sales figures include the sales of TVS scooters, motorcycles and three-wheelers.

TVS is also looking forward to introduce its flagship motorcycle, Apache RTR 250 very soon. It has been caught getting tested recently, and is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming AutoExpo 2016 in New Delhi. Apart from that, TVS has also stepped up the game by partnering with the German auto giant, BMW. A totally new sub 400cc naked street-fighter motorcycle by the Indo-German partnership is in its final stages, chances are that it might also get launched by mid next year.
