As we know Indian Scooter market is revving high currently and is on its peak. With the increase in scooter demand, the Hosur based two wheeler manufacturer has recorded a good eight percent growth in last month of sales. TVS stand strong on the 4th position in the list of Indian two-wheeler manufacturer with the last month’s sales of 2.05 lakh units.
When looking at the previous year sales, TVS managed to increase the sales count from 1.69 lakhs in June 2014 to 1.77 lakhs in June 2015. TVS came up with products like Star City plus and Scooty Zest few months ago, these products are doing well in the market and TVS Jupiter became one of the fastest selling scooter as it crossed the sales target of 5 lakhs units in just eighteen months of its launch. TVS sold 58,328 units in the last year’s corresponding month as compared to 61,241 units in June 2015 which resulted in good 5 percent growth in scooter sales.
The Hosur based two-wheeler manufacturer is also working with BMW Mottard over a motorcycle which is known by the code name KO3 for the present time. Though the specifications figures are not out yet, but we hope that the strategic partnership of TVS-BMW would result in a 300cc motorcycle that would be capable of producing around 35bhp. The launch of KO3 will produce good results for TVS and we hope it will further boost TVS’s growth chart.
