Homegrown two wheeler manufacturer TVS has reached a new milestone with its all new Victor. The commuter motorcycle has reached a milestone of one lakh unit sales since its launch. The commuter motorcycle was launched earlier this year, TVS’s latest 110cc commuter brought back the name after almost a decade and it got great response for being a great all rounded product.
With 1 lakh units of TVS Victor sold in just 9 months means, the all-new motorcycle is selling more than 10,000 units per month. The motorcycle is being sold in the highly competitive 110cc commuter segment, where Hero MotoCorp has its hold with motorcycles such as Splendor and Passion Pro. Overseeing such an amazing sales figure in a short time, that too contending with built up models like Splendor and Passion Pro is truly admirable.
The breathtaking achievement has not been useful to TVS in the 110cc section, however has likewise given the organization's piece of the pie a noteworthy push of 8 percent in the general bike segment. With the same momentum, TVS now expects to achieve a 10-12 per cent market share in the domestic motorcycle market during the next two years with the new Victor being a major contributor in this process.
The motorcycle is powered by a 110cc 3-valve, single-cylinder Ecothrust engine which is one of the most powerful and refined units in the 100cc commuter segment. The engine churns out 9.4bhp of power and 9.4Nm of torque at 6000rpm. The motor comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox.The commuter motorcycle returns a respectable fuel efficiency figure of 76 km/l. It also gets a segment first hazard lights feature.
The Victor is now available in six different colours, and they are Blissful Blue, Generous Grey, Beatific Black Silver, Serene Silver, Restful Red, and Balanced Black Red.
