TVS gave a preview of its concepts and upcoming models at the Auto Expo 2018 including the Zeppelin concept which is primarily a performance cruiser. The concept features a 220cc, single-cylinder engine that generates maximum power of 20bhp at 8,500rpm against 18.5Nm torque at 7,000rpm. Interestingly, this engine is a first for the company and has been paired to a five-speed gearbox.

While details on the mechanical front are yet sketchy, the concept is said to feature a patented Integrated Starter Generator System that seems to be a similar concept as Maruti’s SHVS mild hybrid technology, though a smaller one suitable for a bike. It additionally gets an e-boost function for enhanced performance from a 1200W regenerative assist motor, powered by a 48V Lithium ion battery. TVS claims that the bike can offer a top speed of 130km/h.
In terms of looks, the TVS Zeppelin concept sports a power-cruiser-style design. The front gets meaty, vertically placed rectangular LED headlamp, a gold 41mm USD fork as well as a switchgear, reminiscent of RR 310. In addition, it gets a flat handlebar, a compact dial with an analogue rev counter and digital readouts.
