TVS today launched the Star City+ at Rs. 44,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India. The new updated model from the Star family is based on the existing Star City with similar underpinnings and power unit as well. However, the company has tweaked the model extensively on both mechanical as well as cosmetic parts.

Powered by a 109.72cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, the Star City+ has power of 8.1 BHP and 8.7 Nm of torque. Although the power figure is similar to the earlier machine, but torque has risen by 7 per cent and being produced at 500 RPM earlier than that of the Star City. The bike delivers a claimed mileage of 86 kmpl. The Star City+ comes loaded with a few class leading features like digital speed display, service reminder, eco/sport mode indicator and more importantly the fit and finish is top-notch that is simply hard to find on any other product among its segment.

Aesthetically, the bike looks much appealing finished in dual paint theme, which is majorly trending these days. Alloy wheels, an all black engine unit, silencer and other elements look attractive in contrast to sharp body colors. TVS has launched the new commuter at a mouth-watering price, cheaper by approximately Rs 2,000 - 4,000 than its rivals. The bike is available across all TVS dealerships in the country.
