It seems that TVS Motor is in no mood to rest. After beating Bajaj's domestic sales a few times recently, it has again slipped to number fourth spot and is trying hard to be back in the game by beating Bajaj Auto. As of now, Hero MotoCorp leads the game and is closely followed by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI).

"The company would look to regain its third position in the two-wheeler market backed by new launches...the company intends to launch scooter Zest and bikes Victor and Apache before the end of this fiscal," said Venu Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director, TVS Motor Company at the company's Annual General Meeting.

The company has some new launches planed before the end of the financial year. This includes a new scooter - Zest - and refreshed versions of the famous Apache and highly successful Victor. The success the recent models Jupiter and Star City have been enjoying also cannot be ruled out. The company also plans to roll out a new vehicle every three to four months. The possibility of its Indonesian subsidiary becoming cash positive is also a driving force behind this adrenaline rush.
