TVS-BMW G 310R revealed
Snapshot: The G 310R is developed at the BMW MotorradвЂ™s Munich facility with the help of Indian auto maker TVS Motors.
TVS-BMW has finally pulled the covers off their first product, the G 310R. The company showcased the concept model of their 310cc naked street bike at a motorcycle show in Brazil few weeks back and finally the company has unveiled the production version of the same. G 310R looks promising and has surely surprised the world with its striking visuals.
The bike is equipped with an all-new 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with 4 valves and 2 overhead camshatfs with electronic fuel injection. The company says that the most striking feature of the G 310 R is its backward-tilted cylinder in open-deck design with the cylinder head turned by 180 degrees. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transimisson and is capable of churining out a maximum power of 34bhp at 9500rpm while the peak torque rating reaches to 28Nm at 7500rpm.

The G 310R is developed at the BMW Motorrad’s Munich facility with the help of Indian auto maker TVS Motors. It is expected that the bike will be showcased in India at the upcoming motorshow, AutoExpo 2016. When launched, G 310R will lock horns with KTM 390 Duke, Mahindra Mojo, Benelli TNT 300 and Kawasaki Z250. Being manufactured at the TVS facility here in India, it is expected that motorcycle will certainly be cheaper than some of its counterparts like Kawasaki Z250 and Benelli TNT 300. We expect it to be priced competitively against KTM 390, with in a price bracket of INR 2.10-2.40 lakhs.
