Uber launches UberMOTO, the motorbike ride service in Bangalore

After Bangkok, Uber today launched its motorbike ride service in Bangalore. This service will help people living in the Bangalore city to get a bike ride on just a tap of a button. It will not just ease transportation for Bangalore population but will also prove to be super affordable means of commute.

Amit Jain, President, Uber India, said “Uber has always been at the forefront of innovation across the world. We are very excited to pilot uberMOTO in Bangalore. Pairing our on-demand technology platform with motorbikes, the predominant mode of transport in India. Enabling transportation at the push of a button, uberMOTO will offer another affordable mobility option that will help people save time and money while helping cut congestion in our cities over time.”

The option for the uberMOTO service is already live on the UBER app and works in the same way as other options - uberGO, uberX and uberBLACK. Talking about fare, it certainly is the most affordable commute option available with rates starting at в‚№ 15 + в‚№ 3 /km + в‚№1/min. At the moment, uberMOTO service is available only in the region shown below and in time it will expand to a larger extent.
