Audi India has introduced revised version of its Q7 SUV in the country in a price range of Rs. 64.50 - 87.93 Lakhs. The new prices are approx. Rs 4.2 - 10.75 Lakhs more than existing price range of the Q7 crossover SUV. Seeing the festive season ahead, Audi has taken such a step as several of its contemporaries are practicing the same as well. Addition of features as well as minor designing modification has resulted in the price rise across the entire Audi Q7 range.
The new Q7 boasts very minor changes in the overall design, albeit it gets several added features inside the cabin. All the three trims - Premium, Premium Plus and Technology now come with reverse parking guidance system, panoramic sunroof and air suspension as standard features. Additionally, the Premium Plus and Technology trims also flaunt tweaked front and rear bumper and 10-spoke, 19-inch alloys. Side skirts is also a valuable addition to these trims.
Mechanically, the company has made a big change in the Q7 SUV as it has phased out the 3.0L TFSI turbo petrol motor from the entire variant lineup. Hence, currently there are only two diesel engines on offer. The base trim is being powered by a 3.0-litre TDI diesel mill which churns out a maximum power of 240 bhp and peak torque of 550Nm. On the other hand, the top-end variant comes loaded with a 4.2-litre TDI powertrain which returns an impressive 335bhp of power and 800Nm of torque. Both these engines are paired with a 8-speed automatic transmission with power being evenly disbursed to all the four wheels of the SUV, en-route Quattro All-Wheel-Drive system.
